Quiet Weekend

davidcook is in London fencing this weekend, so I've been home alone.
Probably just as well I didn't need to talk to anyone, my throat infection was particularly bad yesterday. I drank an entire pot of tea by myself just because the warm water made it hurt less. Woke up some time too early this morning with the throat particularly bad, but happily I had a throat lolly strategically placed by the bed for just such an emergency. Amazingly I did not choke on it while drifting in and out of a doze, and when I rewoke in the afternoon I was miraculously cured.
Except for the sneezing. I'm doing a lot of that now.

Aside from feeling sorry for myself I've almost finished my puzzle, got the fencing fanzine within sight of completion (although I have no idea what to put on the front cover...), and mostly kept up with the housework. I have not however managed to do any coaching revision to prepare for next weekend, that will have to get squeezed in sometime during the week.

Haven't heard anything from David today, not sure if that's good news or bad news as far as his fencing went. Or maybe his phone battery just ran out. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.
