First Day of Childcare
Feb. 6th, 2014 03:32 pmIt went well.
( More Back Here )
In other news, because so much is happening at the moment, we had a clear four word sentence this morning. "Go through with dad" he said from his high chair, pointing into the lounge where dad was.
He also manages a good "sausage" and a close "triangle", although he's still working out exactly which meat/shape it applies to.
At home he's behaving like such a stereotypical boy. Stomping around in his shoes, delighting in everything noisy, running like a mad thing and trying hard to jump, throwing balls at the walls, etc. He had 3 balls at hand when I was trying to get him to nap, a soft one, a slightly bouncy one, and a very bouncy one. He spent a short time bouncing each of them off the wall as hard as he could and apparently evaluating the differences.
Fortunately, I seem to have persuaded him that throwing things at people isn't on. "No throwing. Hurt. People." he gravely informed me this morning while handling one of the definite "no throwing" objects. I swear however that he is *pretending* to throw things at me while keeping hold of them. This makes me nervous.
We were also having trouble with him hitting us, but he's becoming a lot better about that as well.
