rwrylsin: Lego Lisa (Enguard)
After delivering a softly-spoken ultimatum, Scottish Fencing did their bit and I now have a venue for a 5 week trial of a second training night for my fencing club.
Unfortunately after 5 weeks the whole hall is booked out by dancers, apparently there's a dance season, but I'll worry about that once I know if anyone is even going to show up.
Better get on with planning some class lessons then...

Glasgow Open this weekend. I feel quite unprepared, very much in coachy mode now. At least the gym session last night went quite well and suggests I'm fully recovered from the colds &etc now.

BAF have confirmed I have a place on the summer coaching course. Perplexingly, they have asked me what documentation I need, I rather thought they would tell me. Reading the list on the website hasn't really helped so I shall have to ask my friendly local BAF coach. Possibly it is just their way of saying "what level are you studying for?".
Need to figure out how I'm getting there now.

At the end of the month I have to go to London for another work-related course. Have decided to fly down on the Saturday with David and spend my birthday visiting museums and possibly shopping.

So that's a few long-standing items off the to-do list. A new addition is to revise French, in May David is off to fence at an A-grade in Paris.

Last nights mail brought something from Barclaycard, boldly stating on the front that there was "nothing of interest inside". I took their word for it. I like mail that is quick to deal with.
