Bub has now reached the stage where he will sometimes sit and tell me what's on his mind - which is fascinating. He also often gives actual answers to questions.
So I know he still thinks about the snow trip and wants more snow, although he understands it is now too warm, but there will be more snow one day.
Yesterday he mentioned the zoo trip he took 3 days earlier, with the many trains and trams dad took him on, meeting his friend whose name he remembered at the butterfly house, and holding her hand.
When I asked what time he got up, he said he was up very early, but played quietly to not wake people up. He also noted that he did not play with dads bags, which is noteworthy because after scattering dads things across the floor several times dad has had enough. I woke the day before to find breakfast not yet started as a battle of wills was in progress with dad demanding an apology and bub refusing. By the time I emerged from the shower bub gave me a cheery greeting, informed me that he had said sorry, so all was well again.
He also points to things that shouldn't be there and says "What's that doing there? I wonder who put that there". Naturally, it was he who did it.
