The baby is upright and on the move. I repeat, the baby is walking. We have a Toddler.
You may have already heard this from David, it's taken me a while to get to my computer. On Good Friday Bub took a half-dozen steps across the great void from the sofa to where I was sitting at the dining table, so we're calling that walking.
Since then he has regularly stepped out for 5 or 6 steps at a time, and seems quite pleased with himself. If he ends up out of reach of support after a few steps, he slowly sinks down into a squat and then crawls the rest of the way. Don't think we've had any uncontrolled falls as yet.
He has also worked out how to wave the stick to get Abby to play with him, which was very nearly as cute to watch as when he and Ella played in the crawl tunnel. He and the cats are definitely getting along well now, and he mostly remembers not to grab their tails.
Sleepwise, if he gets two naps in during the day then he seems to more or less reliably sleep through the night. On one nap not so much.
