Stayed home feeling poorly today. I'm hoping it just stems from excessive tiredness after a great convention weekend, but I fear I may have That Thing That's Going Around.
Fell asleep in a chair for a couple of hours at one stage. Normally I can never sleep when not horizontal.
Anyway, around the napping and general vagueness I did manage to catch up with the weekend washing and prepare the resized window for bricklaying. I also poked a garden fork into the potato patch, and was astonished to find some beautiful big potatoes. Most of the rest where much smaller, but knowing it was possible gave me incentive to thoroughly turn over the bed.
And with the aid of the breadmaker I have made more cinnamon buns. After comparing
morniendil's recipe with mine I doubled the yeast I normally use and allowed for more final rising, the result is as near perfect as I'm likely to get in the current oven. (Still not enough cinnamon, but I'll get it one day).
Once they cool I'll throw most of them in the freezer and have work morning tea sorted for the rest of the month.
